The Steamboat Inn Bed & Breakfast: A wonderful combination of old and new. A Greek Revival style home balancing 19th century style and 21st century comfort. Four guest rooms open directly off the oversized grand hallway. At the end of the hall is a bright and cheery dining room, overlooking the garden area and historic downtown. The guest kitchen is stocked with soft drinks, and homemade snacks with 24 hours access. Walk around the corner to the museums, antique shops, art galleries, restaurants and more. We will make certain you are having the getaway, honeymoon, or business stay you are looking for.

  

General Information / Policy
  • A two night minimum is needed during holidays and special events.
  • Room rates are based on double occupancy. A one night deposit holds guest reservations.
  • We accept Checks, American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover and Cash.
  • Children over 8 welcome. (Children under 8 welcome with whole house bookings.)
  • Pullout bed available for only $25 + tax. 
  • Smoking allowed outside only. 
  • For everyone, but mostly our crazy Mardi Gras guests: $200 charge for any trace of odor (smoke, vomit, etc...) in the room after check out. 
  • Cancellations made 7 days out from the date of booking will receive a full refund, 30 days or more on holidays/special events or more than one room reserved. Cancellations made within the 7 days from the date of booking will not be charged, only if we can re-book the room. $25 cancellation fee.

You will come to a "Y" in the road, stay LEFT
Make a LEFT at the 1st traffic signal (Austin St.)
Drive 3 block and take a RIGHT onto Marshall St.
